USA: Dickens

Another one of my favorites from Mary.
The card represents Charles Dickens, a famous English author (1812 - 1870). The photograph was taken in 1864.
Here's a quote from the card: "I never thought Charles Dickens should look so severe! Imagine all that talent locked up in anger."
